FIRST Tech Challenge
FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) helps students ages 12 to 18 to build the necessary skills to think and problem solve like an engineer. Teams are tasked to design, build and code a robot to compete against other FTC teams. Students develop their abilities in learning about Android technology then how to code their bot in a variety of levels of Java-based programming.
FTC students are not only building robots, but they are developing crucial life skills. Students learn how to design, program, and collaborate to overcome challenges and compete with other innovative student teams across the globe. Beyond the competition, students build community connections by sharing about FTC with young students and also learning from local STEM industry professionals.
